South West Area Camps and Parks - Wesburn Summer Camp Aug 17-Aug 21 2026
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Wesburn Community Centre. If you are signing up please know that it will be for a full week of camp (either 4 or 5 days depending on the week).
Camps Run Monday -Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm and Volunteer Shifts run from 8:45am-3:15pm
Roles
• Help the Day Camp Leader set up and take down crafts and games. • Greet children as they arrive at camp. • Encourage and include all children who need help to participate in activities • Help the leaders on out-trips and with other camp activities. • Contribute to activity planning and evaluation by suggesting ideas for activities and giving feedback to the Camp Leader. • Sign in and sign out so that your volunteer hours will be counted. • Participate in volunteer performance evaluation.
