Welcome Host Volunteer at City of Bath World Heritage Centre
Are you passionate about the World Heritage City of Bath?
Do you like speaking to members of the public?
Do you have hours to spare?
The brand new City of Bath World Heritage Centre, open 7 days a week in central Bath is looking for volunteers to offer a friendly welcome to visitors.
We’re looking for volunteers who can offer at least 3 hours a fortnight to help in the centre and gain an insight into the running of a local heritage attraction.
Activities will include:
- Welcoming visitors to the World Heritage Centre, and directing visitors to the activities and displays.
- Helping visitors to plan their trails and next steps in visiting places in and around Bath.
- Answering questions about the World Heritage Site of Bath, and the reasons why Bath is a World Heritage Site – Bath’s hot springs, Roman archaeology, Georgian life, 18th century architecture and the local landscape.
Volunteering shifts can be flexible to suit your other work/study/personal commitments.
Full training for this role will be provided.
