Deliverables, tasks, and/or responsibilities
Are you a student who is passionate about communicating important information that will benefit the Capilano University community? In search of a way to hone your skills in public speaking and communication? The CSU ambassador is a student volunteer that will act as the bridge between CSU and the CapU students to relay important information and events. From CSU benefits like Device Doctor, Community Cupboard, and CSU Health and Dental plan, to events like annual general meeting, and trivia, the CSU ambassadors will increase awareness of these benefits and events by letting the students know the importance of attendance and how it will benefit them. All of what we do at CSU is for students, therefore the role of the CSU ambassador is extremely essential towards spreading awareness and building a better community especially during these times.
The CSU Ambassador is expected to work up to four to five hours per week for the semester. They will provide their availability per week and be scheduled to work based on that. They will be expected to attend bi-weekly meetings, and prepare a report about the tasks that they have done. Tasks that they are required to complete are:
