Looking for a fun and meaningful way to make a difference in a shelter dog's life—without a long-term commitment? Our Fetch a Friend program offers volunteers the chance to take a shelter dog out for the day on a field trip or adventure.
Whether it’s a walk in the park, or simply a cuddle session on the couch, these outings help reduce kennel stress, enrich the dog’s life, and provide valuable insights into their behavior outside the shelter environment. Plus, these experiences increase their visibility to potential adopters!
Fetch a Friend is perfect for individuals or families who aren’t able to foster or volunteer in the shelter on a regular basis but still want to help. Just one day can make a world of difference for a dog in need.
