MCR Lab Stroke Survivor Hand and Arm Movement Study
Program Overview:
- The University of Minnesota’s Movement Control and Rehabilitation Lab is seeking adult stroke survivors to participate in a research study focused on better understanding how stroke impacts hand and arm movement. 🌐https://mcrlab.umn.edu/
Volunteer Activities:
- Participants will complete computer tasks and non-invasive hand-function assessments designed to measure hand function.
Volunteer Requirements:
Participants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have experienced a stroke on one side of the brain
- Have weakness in one arm
- Be able to follow study team instructions
Time Commitment:
- 1 study visit, approximately 3 hours
Physical Expectations:
- Participants will complete non-invasive assessments of hand function.
- The study is specifically looking for individuals who have weakness in one arm following a stroke.
Compensation:
Participants will be compensated for their time.
