On Going Girl Scout Volunteer Opportunities - Lead our future leaders! Virtual Trooping with Girl Scouts
We are looking for volunteers who are looking to make a difference and support girls in their leadership development journey!
As a virtual troop leader, you’ll introduce girls to new experiences that show them they’re capable of more than they ever imagined, especially with an online world.
- Girl Scout volunteers are imaginative, committed and dynamic! They will be leading the next gen Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers and Leaders.
- Virtual troops will meet 2-4 times per month. The schedule is flexible and will accommodate volunteers and troops.
- Meeting times vary between 30-60 minutes and take place online via Zoom.
- Meetings and activities are "girl-led" - that means leaders get to learn what interests their girls have and guide them to accomplish their goals!
Virtual troop leaders can serve in teams as well. Gather 2-3 friends and become a troop leader cohort. Council will support all new volunteers with training, ideas and resources, such as Zoom, meeting guides and scheduled virtual programming.
Our Girl Scouts around Badgerland are ready to explore. Come share your talents, skills and expertise - join our movement to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make an impact in our world!
