Thank you for your interest in participating in one of the many volunteer opportunities at the Yolo County Animal Services (YCAS) Shelter. We are very excited to have you join Team YCAS.

We would like to invite you to our virtual New Volunteer Orientation for the 'Cat Team' via Zoom once YCAS has more cats on the adoption floor. We currently only have a handful of cats available for adoption. Yay!!

Zoom Orientations will resume in mid-May when 2026 Kitten Season is beginning in ramp up to full swing. Training for cleaning shifts, adoption floor enrichment and cat adoptions will be available at that time.

Please add your name to the Zoom Orientations for now but with the understanding we may reach out sooner, depending on the volume of kittens that come into the shelter organically.

Once you have signed up, you will be emailed the Zoom meeting invitation, information and a link to your new volunteer orientation prior your meeting.

We are looking forward to meeting you soon and having you join the cat team and Team YCAS >^..^< !!
