Book Buddies
Essential functions
- Both parent and child must watch the Book Buddies orientation video, and have a general understanding about proper behavior at the shelter as well as tips on “reading” a cat’s mood.
- One adult volunteer per family must be registered in Better Impact.
- One adult must be present for every two readers at all times.
- Readers will range from 1st to 8th graders.
