Mission Statement

ShelterBox responds to disasters around the world, providing the emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies families need to survive in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

A typical ShelterBox contains a family tent, blankets, water purification, cooking utensils, a stove, a tool kit, a children's activity pack and other vital items. Highly trained ShelterBox Response Team volunteers deliver aid, working with other international organizations and local partners

We are looking for dedicated volunteers who would like to apply to our various volunteer opportunities!

We are looking for passionate individuals to help spread the word and fundraise for ShelterBox Canada.
This self-directed role exists to raise awareness and funds about ShelterBox’s work worldwide and requires a pro-active self-starter who is keen to initiate activities and increase community engagement.

Do you want to volunteer with SBC in a more casual manner? Join the ShelterBox Canada Volunteer Team! Team volunteers support Ambassadors with community events, advocate for ShelterBox Canada in their communities and are encouraged to engage in fundraising campaigns. As a team volunteer you may be called on to assist with various events or to advocate and fundraise during a major disaster.
