Wildlife Hotline
Appalachian Wild has a hotline for the general public to reach out with inquiries about wildlife. Volunteers, responsible for the hotline, share information and help finders. The hotline volunteers are the front-line defense to stop interference with wildlife that doesn’t need our help and to expedite care to those wildlife that do need our help. Volunteers must work 3-6 hours per week deepening on season. Ability to communicate remotely via email, text and phone is required. Willingness to respectfully and positively work with the public in stressful situations is required. Ability to work in a team setting is a must!
