A Weekend of Service 2023 - Lazarus House Project Bethlehem Cookie Baking

Gather at the Lazarus House Family Shelter, 48 Holly Street in Lawrence, MA and get ready to bake!

While another Weekend of Service group cleans and sets up the Project Bethlehem room at the Lazarus House Admin Building, we will use the kitchen at the Lazarus House Family Shelter to make baked goods for freezing -- to be brought out daily through the month of November and December for volunteers and guests at Project Bethlehem, the annual Christmas giving program hosted at Lazarus House. Last year, over 3,000 people in greatest need in Lawrence were supported with donated gifts. A great activity for adults and children 8 years and up with adults. Project questions? Contact Carolyn Holden.

Opened in 1983, Lazarus House Ministries has 50+ full and part-time staff, 5000+ volunteers, and 6500 donors working together to serve the most vulnerable people of Lawrence, MA. They offer community, food, shelter, clothing, and advocacy services with open and non-judgmental hearts.
