Neighbors In Need operates 13 food pantries strategically located in the neighborhoods of Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and North Andover. It serves at-risk families and youth in Greater Lawrence by providing food, diapers, formula, clothing and other necessities. Staff members work with clients to ensure they are accessing appropriate services, including SNAP and WIC benefits,  and counsel families as they strive to become self-sufficient. Last year, over 250,000 lbs. of fresh produce, basic staples and frozen meat was distributed to 1,200 families. Neighbors In Need has been serving the poor and hungry of Greater Lawrence for the last 40 years and has been closely connected with South Church since its founding.
