A Weekend of Service 2023 - Giving Garden

The Giving Garden needs help getting ready for winter. We will be moving mulch to cover the beds, taking down trellises, rolling up irrigation lines, and maybe some last harvesting. Tasks are weather dependent so will be finalized and communicated with volunteers a week ahead of time. No experience necessary - just come with a willingness to dig in! All ages welcome, children under 12 welcome with a adult to supervise. Project questions? Contact Emily Strong. Raindate: Sunday 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Meet at the Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center at 660 Great Pond Rd., N. Andover. Park in paved lot at end of driveway and walk across meadow to garden. Bring a water bottle. Bug spray and long pants are recommended to avoid ticks. Gloves provided or bring  your own.

The Giving Garden is a half-acre regenerative garden to feed the hungry, located in North Andover, Massachusetts. Our mission is to address local food insecurity by bringing together diverse communities of volunteers and guiding them in sustainable, organic farming practices. A second goal is to create opportunities for children and youth to volunteer, as we hope to reconnect them with nature and the land that feeds us.
