Annual Walk for Autism

We are recruiting volunteers for our signature event!   Will you join us in supporting our 19th Annual Walk for Autism?   We need volunteers for set up, registration, themed basket auction, Walk route, food tent, clean up and MORE!   You will have the opportunity of filling in "Job Assignment Requested" during registration.

The 2020 Walk Committee will be assigning volunteer positions on THURSDAY, APRIL 10th. All volunteers will receive a confirmation email the week of April 15th with their volunteer assignment and arrival time. 

When registering to volunteer for the Walk, all volunteers need to select a t-shirt size.  Please go to MY PROFILE, ADDITIONAL INFOR......Annual Walk for Autism - select your t-shirt size from the drop-down list.

Erie SeaWolves | Sensory Friendly

Join the Autism Society NWPA and the Erie SeaWolves, and "pitch" in to help make this a fun family day to remember.  We are recruiting volunteers to help with registration, Information and merchandise tables.

Registration table | located outside the gates

  1. Responsible for checking in families
  2. Handing out envelopes with tickets (and meal deals if ordered)
  3. Band children that will be using the bounce house option
  4. See information sheet for family instructions (schedule of event at the ball park)

Autism Society NWPA Information & Merchandise table - located inside the ball park behind back stop

  1. Responsible for selling autism merchandise (credit card processing is possible)
  2. Provide information regarding upcoming events
  3. Table opened from 12:30pm to 4:30pm (set up as 1 hour shifts)

Pre-Grame Festivities (High-Five Tunnel, First pitch, Panera Bread photo opt)

  1. Ensure families are gathering to entry the field for the pre-grame festivities
  2. Take photos of the High-Five Tunnel and First pitch
  3. Organize group for Panera Bread photo - check presentation

Lunch and Bowl | Family Outing

Volunteers are needed to assist with our Annual Lunch and Bowl on Saturday, March  28

The Lunch and Bowl will take place at Rolling Meadow Lanes located at 3304 Zuck Road | Erie, PA 16506

Volunteers are needed for set up, registration, lane assignments, lunch help, merchandise table, clean up and more.
