PARTICIPATE GARDEN ASSISTANT

Do you enjoy supporting others? Do have a passion for plants and horticulture?
Support genU's participants in our disability recreation program where they enjoy spending time working in the garden, cultivating plants and growing vegetables. Help to provide additional support for our clients and staff, ensuring all participants are feeling welcome and engaged!
Get out and about while making a difference to the lives of people with a disability. Volunteer with great people, make new friends, learn new skills and get involved.
Our Participate Disability Day programs run from our venues or out in the community. genU's range of activities include
- Gardening Programs
- Art and craft
- Music
- Group social interaction
Assistants support the Participate Educators to deliver key programs and services and provide extra support for clients and program staff.
Volunteers will not only contribute to the physical well-being of participants but also play a key role in fostering social connections and facilitating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Program Hours: Program runs activities between 10.00am - 3.00pm, Tuesday to Thursday across four terms per year.
