Physiotherapy Assistant
The physiotherapy assistant helps the staff with set up of the activities and equipment. They will follow all policies, procedures and infection control protocols. Beginning the routine is to porter residents to the physiotherapy area. A list of residents is provided for the volunteer to follow. Continuing with the volunteer assisting with walking exercises, supervising equipment exercises, making up hot packs and assisting the staff as a safety support.
Commitment: one shift (1-2 hours)/week for a minimum of 6 months
Monday - Fridays: 10:15 am - 12 pm
