Recreation Assistant
The Recreation Assistant will enhance the provision of care within St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital by providing a cheerful, welcoming atmosphere and support a positive recreational and social environment.
Some activities you would be a part of include:
- Arts and Crafts
- Happy Hour
- Bingo
- Summer BBQ's
- Musical activities
- Games
and many more!
The volunteer will assist with program set up, porter residents to and from the program area, socialize with the residents, and complete other duties assigned by the Recreational Therapist.
Time Commitment: one shift (1-2 hours/week) for a minimum 6 months
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: 10 am - 12 pm; 1:15 pm - 3:15 pm; 6 pm - 8 pm
Thursdays & Fridays: 10 am - 12 pm; 1:15 pm - 3:15 pm
Saturdays: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
