Laundry Assistant
The laundry assistant assists the laundry staff with the sorting, folding, hanging and labeling of resident clothing. Volunteers will help to inspect and separate linen that needs to be washed and prepare clean laundry to be delivered by staff members to the resident’s room.
This role requires individuals that are:
• Reliable, consistent, and punctual
• Able to work with minimal supervision and able to understand and follow directions.
• Friendly, supportive, and sincere
No experience needed – will train the right volunteer!
We ask that volunteers are able to assist for 1-2 hours, between the hours of 10am - 12pm.
