Restorative Justice Circle Volunteer
This volunteer position is involved with facilitating restorative justice circles. Our restorative justice approach brings together those who cause harm, harmed persons, and community members to address what has occurred and what should be done to make things right.
We work with individuals from 12 years of age and older who have been referred to us from either the criminal justice system or from our community partners, such as the Welcome Back Program.
To volunteer for this position, you must be 20 years of age and live in Edmonton or the surrounding area. The first step in expressing your interest in this role is to complete your volunteer application form. Volunteers must have evening availability as most of our circle work is conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and sometimes Thursday evenings. Extensive training is provided for volunteers in this role. We provide ongoing skill development.
