Edmonton Youth Justice Committee Society

The restorative justice circle volunteer is involved with facilitating restorative justice circles. We work with youth and young adults who have been referred to us through the court system. This service is an alternative to the courts.  We are expanding this role into the community and will be providing restorative justice circles based on community needs,. To volunteer for this position, you must be 18 years of age and live in the Edmonton area. 

The first step in expressing your interest in this role is to complete your volunteer application form. Volunteers must have evening availability as most of our circle work is conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and sometimes Thursday evenings.

Extensive training is provided for volunteers in this role. We provide ongoing skill development. 

All EYJC volunteers are expected to help out with bingo's and casinos or other fund raising events. When everyone helps out a little it makes a difference.
