At KHSC, we have two distinct application forms, each designed to gather specific information which will help us to guide you through the process of becoming a KHSC volunteer. 

Please take a moment to ensure you select the application form that best fits your situation. 

      Application #1.  

 Are you at least 16 years of age and NOT a student in full-time education?  Click here for our General Application (or click on the "Fill in an application" button on the right)

Application #2.  Are you at least 16 years of age and YOU ARE a student in high school, post-secondary, Graduate or PhD?    Click here for our Student Application. 

The Student Application contains questions about where you study, the timing of your semesters, etc. which assist us in planning your orientation and training. If you're a student and choose the General Application instead, we'll need to ask you to reapply so we can collect the specific information we need.

At Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC), our volunteers are valued members of the health-care team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. By offering support, guidance and comfort, volunteers help create a more positive and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Whether it’s providing a reassuring presence, offering directions, calling patients with appointment reminders or assisting them after a procedure, or raising funds our volunteers play a vital role in enhancing patient care. Our volunteers’ kindness, dedication and generosity relieve stress, anxiety and uncertainty—one interaction at a time.
