Saginaw County Animal Care & Control

Cat Care volunteers are needed for housekeeping duties in two of our cat rooms daily. Typical cleaning tasks include: 

• Filling food and water bowls
• Scooping litterboxes
• Sanitizing and scrubbing out kennels
• Resetting kennels with newspaper, blankets, and toys.
• Washing used dishes
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning our large "Cat TV" windows

Volunteers are preferred for mornings to ensure cleaning our Cat's Meow Adoption Room is completed by 10am daily. Volunteers are also help complete housekeeping in Cat Quarters, where our not-yet and soon-to-be- adoptable cats reside. Our dependable volunteers are invaluable as we rely on their help with keeping our kitties clean and comfortable every day of the year, weekends and holidays included. Cat Care tem members can be 18+ years old, or 13-17 if accompanied by a parent/guardian.
