Library Events & Programs - Boots & Beats on the Lawn Event Helper/Swallow Hill Live Music

We would love YOU to volunteer at this summer program for the family!

As a supplement to our Howdy Partner, Let's Read! Summer Reading,  Douglas County Libraries is hosting Swallow Hill Live Music Night: Boots & Beats on the Lawn.  Attendees will enjoy a live music show, snacks and life sized games.

Energetic and outgoing volunteers will help set up, assist the crowd with snacks, and life sized games and enjoy the music and help clean up at the end. Please note: Dress for outdoors. No advance training is necessary. Library staff will show you how to help and will be present for ongoing support.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Sonia Bates to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
