Thank you for thinking of offering your time to volunteer with Sheffield Museums - volunteers are integral to so much that we do, with over 200 people contributing their time and skills each year.
Through this page, you can apply to join our volunteer team (using the button at the top right of this page). Once your application is complete you will receive emails whenever a new volunteer role is created. It's totally up to you which days and activities you'd like to volunteer to help with.

Sheffield Museums - Our Vision and Mission
Sheffield Museums is the charity responsible for our city’s museums and galleries: Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, Kelham Island Museum, Graves Gallery, Millennium Gallery, Shepherd Wheel and Weston Park Museum.
Our vision is to be an ambitious, resilient, and unified museums service that represents, celebrates, and inspires Sheffield.
Our mission is to care for and develop Sheffield’s extraordinary heritage collections and to use them as a tool for inspiration, for making sense of the world around us. We will make the city’s heritage accessible to the widest audience – people from all walks of life.
