Maintenance - Groundskeeping / Landscaping Volunteer

Do you enjoy fresh air and hands-on work? Join us in caring for the outdoor spaces at The Salvation Army Davenport Corps. A well-kept property shows our community that we care inside and out.

When:

  • Weekdays, flexible scheduling

Volunteer Duties:

  • Mowing, trimming, and raking

  • Planting and watering flowers or shrubs

  • Weeding, mulching, and general garden upkeep

  • Picking up litter and keeping walkways clear

  • Shoveling and salting sidewalks

Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, lift, and stand for periods of time

  • Closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing required

  • Gardening or landscaping experience helpful but not required

Whether you can come once a season or on a regular basis, your time helps us keep our grounds looking their best.
