Welcome! | |

Whether you are supporting donors throughout the donation process, recruiting new donors, or raising awareness about the importance of blood, plasma, stem cell and organs and tissues donation; our volunteers are a vital link in Canada’s Lifeline. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! |
|
Greet donors with a smile, make conversation, and accompany them throughout their donation process. Help them feel welcome and comfortable. The care and attention you give is very often a key reason why donors return. As one of the last faces donors see on their way out, you play a critical role in the success of future plasma donor events.
We are looking for new volunteers to join our team with any of this availability:
The Awareness & Recruitment Volunteer Team supports the recruitment of donors in addition to supporting initiatives to raise awareness about the need for plasma donors in the community and on-campus. They attend community events and speak to the general public about the various ways that they can get involved with Canadian Blood Services and act as advocates for the organization.

Canadian Blood Services Covid-19 Volunteer Vaccination Policy
Being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 is a condition of volunteering for Canadian Blood Services.
Volunteer applicants will be required to show proof of vaccination before they are accepted as a volunteer.
We believe this is the best way for us to protect our essential operations of supplying life essential products and services for patients in Canada.
