Volunteer with the Community Care team

Our volunteers offer key administrative and welcoming support for impactful programs for seniors and people with disability.

Volunteer teams operate out of South Tweed and Banora Point Community Centres, as well as at special events such as the Tweed Seniors Festival.

In Banora Point, volunteers actively contribute to the vibrant FABS (Fun Activities Banora Seniors) hub by greeting attendees, leading activities, assisting with community events, managing the library, and providing administrative support, creating a strong sense of social connection and community spirit.

The Hub is well equipped with information on services, support, groups, activities and opportunities in the local area.
