Banora Point Community Centre opened in 1985, providing a much-needed community hub to the growing community in the Banora basin. The building is set amongst landscape gardens adjoining a public park and playground.
The Hub is well equipped with information on services, support, groups, activities and opportunities in the local area.
FABS (Fun Activities Banora Seniors) program and computer tuition is delivered through the centre. FABS is a place of social connection for seniors living in the community, providing an opportunity for community members to participate in enjoyable activities and create support social networks. Activities are low cost, held in a friendly relaxed environment and allow for social interaction in the aged sector.p>
