Welcome! Anyone can become a volunteer, as long as you are over 18 years old and have a passion for animal welfare!
We have varying volunteer opportunities available including supporting with the daily care of our animals, provide customer service support, help out at events and community programs, and assist with transporting animals and donations. You can also jump across to our fostering page to become a foster carer.
If you’re studying any field of animal care, you can do a volunteer student placement with us.

Location update:
We will be operating from our new facility in Kurnell from late-September 2026 onwards so will only be accepting applications for this site going forward.
As we prepare to move, we are holding application reviews for volunteers as we finalise our new processes and plan our induction schedule for September & October.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to having you part of our wonderful volunteer team.
