Meals on Wheels volunteers play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals to clients who have been assessed as needing support with their nutrition.
This role offers a rewarding experience, allowing volunteers to develop communication skills, gain new job-related skills, establish a consistent routine, and contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
Volunteers will collect meals from the designated location at a set time and deliver them directly to clients homes. Shifts typically occur during lunchtime hours, with routes available in Craik, Davidson, Kyle, Lucky Lake and Outlook.

Sunday - Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
To provide an opportunity to youth in the community to have a regularly scheduled role to assist in the acute care setting. Duties may include visiting in-patients, re-stocking supply carts, re-stocking basic supplies in emergency rooms, delivering water jugs and other tasks deemed appropriate by acute care staff. This will allow youth to develop an interest in a health care profession while assisting the acute care staff
This will be managed as an on-going program with regular weekly scheduled shifts. There will also be flexibility to call in volunteens for special as needed circumstances.
Shifts available Monday - Friday afternoons and evenings
This activity take place in various communities and facilities in the Moose Jaw area, Rouleau, Avonlea, Briercrest, Chaplin, Craik, Eyebrow, Elbow, Mortlach, Riverhurst.
Volunteers provide a comfortable and supportive environment for people attending the wellness clinic. Greet and assist clients with wayfinding, and to promote the clinic. Give clients friendly reminders to book future appointments when they arrive. Reminding new clients about bringing in their health cards and lists of medications. Maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of each client that attends.
Shift times are 3-5 hours and usually take place in the mornings.
Autism Summer Camp Ambassador The Volunteer will provide extra supervision, watching of exits and support recreation activities.
This will allow more camp participants and the staff to offer undivided attention to the participants with extra help available to them.
Camp will be held at the Outlook and District Heritage Centre, Outlook SK

A Recreation Associate helps facilitate a variety of activities at the site, encouraging resident participation and engagement. They work alongside long-term care staff, offering additional support to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life of residents.
Activities may include, games, puzzles, crafts, reading, baking, exercising, walking, decorating, spa services, special outings, social visits and more.
Shifts are available based on local programming schedules.
This position gives high school students the opportunity to volunteer their time and efforts while they experience continuing care and the careers available within it. Volunteers assist staff with general tasks deemed appropriate for youth and volunteers. Duties may include restocking carts (robes, slippers, toiletries etc.), delivering water and snacks to patients, visiting, playing cards, painting nails and shadowing nursing staff. Volunteers support the trained services of the facility staff by working together to enhance the patients experience during hospitalization.
