WA AIDS Council

With the current uncertainty around Covid-19, please note we are not currently recruiting volunteers - however, please feel free to register your interest now to volunteer with the WA AIDS Council and you will be provided with regular updates and notified once we resume recruitment.

Under normal circumstances, we have volunteer inductions throughout the year, by registering as an applicant now, you will be on our recruitment list and will be contacted when we have our next volunteer recruitment drive.

As part of the recruitment process you will be invited to attend the following :

  • Volunteering at WAAC Information Session
  • Interview for your chosen interests (eg Events Outreach; NSEP; Public Speaking)
  • Induction training: if successful at an interview, you will then be invited to attend an induction training - this is dependant on the completion of some pre-training requirements including applying for relevant Police Checks and Working with Children Checks as necessary, the completion of a HIV Quiz and reference checks.

Contact the volunteer coordinator, Jacqui Whelan, via email for any further enquiries: jwhelan@waaids.com
