Join the team behind the Gold Coast’s newest night attraction at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! Be part of an unforgettable experience where stars meet the earth in a magical forest setting. We are looking for individuals with a HAPPY AND WELCOMING disposition who are committed to supporting this unforgettable customer experience. You will be required to work well independently and in a team environment and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do:
Host guests from all walks of life as they embark on the Astra Lumina star-trail experience.
Create a welcoming and magical atmosphere, ensuring a safe and inspirational journey for all visitors.
Work across various stations along the trail, helping guide and assist guests.
What to Expect:
Full training provided (note: this role does not involve animal contact).
Join a fun, friendly, and supportive volunteer crew.
Experience the glittering magic of Astra Lumina each evening.
Eligibility Criteria:
Aged 18 years or older.
Available for a 3-4 hour evening shift once a week (Wednesday to Saturday), covering core hours from 5 PM to 9 PM (times may vary by season). Requiring ability to stand and walk throughout your shift
Ideally, you can offer a minimum 6-month commitment to the program
Be willing to work outdoors in all-weather / seasons
Willing to wear the volunteer uniform, comply with program standards and attend all training
Be computer literate – able to use email and complete online training

Please note: The National Trust Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Astra Lumina Volunteer Program has a volunteer registration fee of $50 which covers – Volunteer uniform shirt, name badge, plus a NTAQ TEAMS card (after 3 months of volunteering) with multiple benefits including free entry and discounted offers at the Sanctuary and other Qld National Trust properties for you and your family/ friends.
