Toowoomba is known as the garden city; in addition the region has a fascinating past, full of rich history.

 

Are you interested in volunteering with the Toowoomba National Trust Community Group?

 

We invite you to assist in building a passionate group of National Trust Queensland volunteers who meet regularly to enjoy social get together and work on community projects to uncover important and interesting memories of our fascinating past, bringing them into the present and conserving for the future.  There is sure to be an activity that appeals to you.

 

The purpose of National Trust Community Groups is to assist with the work of:

 

  • Driving new National Trust Queensland memberships
  • Building the National Trust Queensland brand in the Toowoomba region through positive and engaging activities
  • Assisting with event coordination in your region
  • Using local knowledge to build relationships and establish relevant community organisations, partnerships, and potential supporters of NTAQ.
  • To highlight any local heritage issues or opportunities to the CEO of National Trust Queensland.
