Seat-Filler
Although you are registering on the “Volunteer Database” this is not a volunteer position, and thus you will not receive the volunteer package outlined on the website. This position is managed by the Broadcast Awards Audience Coordinator, who will contact individuals directly in February or early March. The JUNO Awards Volunteer Committee is unable to answer further questions about this position.
The Audience Coordinator of the JUNO Awards television broadcast requires a number of people to serve as seat-fillers in the Broadcast Venue on Sunday, April 3. Being a seat-filler gives you the opportunity to dress up and enjoy the broadcast awards for free, however there are some notes below to consider. If you are interested in being a seat-filler, please be sure to answer the specific seat-fillers questions in the application.
Note: Seat-fillers must be over 18, responsible, available from 11:00am until 9:00pm, physically able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and have the ability to move quickly on foot as required. Bathroom breaks are only allowed during commercials unless there are extreme circumstances. While there is a chance a seat-filler will be seated on-camera, it is possible a seat-filler will not see any of the show.
