Garfield Gulch - Annual Planting Party


Join us for Park Steward Rob's annual Planting Party! Volunteers will be working in the natural area by the playground. The area was last restored by Rob in 2010 and could use a tune up. Volunteers will be rolling ivy, removing invasive plants, and replacing them with native plants!

  • All ages and abilities welcome, no experience necessary.
  • Tools and training will be provided. Gloves are required.
  • Dress for the weather. Work party will take place rain or shine.
  • Restrooms not available at the park.

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle, snack and gardening gloves if you have them (we’ll have spares).

Youth Participant Waiver

If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with our Youth Participant Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
