Position Title: Survey and Evaluation Support
Position Category: Education & Interpretation (80 hours/year service requirement)
Purpose:
To support the Education Department, and the Zoo as a whole, collect and organize data relating to the guest experience at the Zoo with the purpose of establishing benchmarks for engagement and identifying areas for growth in the guest experience.
Duties:
- Clock in/out for every shift
- Report to designated supervisor at the beginning of the shift
- Assist in collecting all needed materials for shift, including: survey cards, survey copies and clipboards, tablets, etc.
- Assist with data entry as available and needed
- Engage zoo guests in a positive and enthusiastic manner and maintain professional demeanor while receiving guest feedback
- Return all materials to designated place
Prerequisite Service: Entry Level (0+ Hours)
Qualifications:
- Must complete general Zoo Crew Orientation Training and in-person or online Survey & Evaluation Support Training
- Must meet with Volunteer Programs Manager prior to first shift
- Complete on-the-job training of duties listed
