Senior Programs - Dig Out Your Neighbor
Our program for Arapahoe County residents will match you with a neighbor in need, within walking or an 8-minute driving distance to your home.
This program is one of the County's most requested needs for volunteers. Your help will have a big impact on your immediate community.
Seniors and other neighbors with mobility issues struggle getting to medical appointments, accessing their car to visit family, and even getting their mail during snowy periods. Snow shoveling volunteers may be the only people seniors are able to talk to during days of snowfall.
We especially need volunteers in Aurora, Greenwood Village, and Centennial.
We ask volunteers to commit to helping for the duration of the winter season.
Qualifications Required
- Background Check Must be at least Passed 7 yr
- CAPS Check Must be Cleared
