Cosmetology/Barber Volunteers
Provide compassionate, caring and hygienic head shaves, wig trims and caregiver haircuts to customers of Shine, the retail store at the SCCA House. New volunteers must be able to commit a minimum of six months to the Volunteer Services program.
Volunteers assist, on average, one 4 hour shift per week. Head shaves are scheduled Mondays, 10 am – 2 pm,Tuesdays, 2- 6 pm, Wednesdays 10 am – 2 pm and Fridays, 10 am - 2 pm. Weekday/daytime availability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Washington.
