Physical Therapy Volunteers
Assist the Physical Therapist and the department by supporting patients undergoing treatment at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist department with patient safety and infection control practices by cleaning and putting away equipment after use.
- Assist with department re-stocking as needed.
- Observe and assist therapist as appropriate during patient treatments.
- Offer water/juice to patients and caregivers
- Assist with filing duties.
Time Commitment
New volunteers must be able to commit a minimum of three months to the Volunteer Services Program. Volunteers assist a minimum of one 2-hour shift per week. The Physical Therapy department is open 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday.
