Dialysis Wayfinding
Dialysis Wayfinder Volunteers are the first point of contact for patients and their families. Volunteers escort patients to their appointments, deliver ice water and visit with patients during their appointments. These volunteers ensure patients and their families have the best possible experience accessing hospital services. Wayfinders should be comfortable approaching people as they enter and exit the facility. They need to be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and be comfortable pushing a wheelchair.
**We are currently seeking volunteers who are consistently available for early morning shifts and able to commit to a 6:45-8:00AM shift on a regular basis for the next 6 months. This early morning coverage is essential to meeting program needs and reliable support is a necessity.
