AHS ID Program
The AHS ID Program (formally known as the ID for the Homeless Healthcare Program) assists clients to obtain much needed personal health-care cards and government-issued identification in order to facilitate access to much needed health and community program and services. This volunteer position can be both rewarding and challenging, knowing that they are assisting those vulnerable among us with this process. The main roles of these volunteers would be to field client questions about the program, to sign in eligible clients, to provide directional assistance, to review client surveys with clients, while overseeing client wait area and provide assistance where possible.
The program runs Wednesday and Thursday Mornings from 8:00am - 12:00 pm
