Chinook Regional Hospital and Lethbridge Sites

Volunteers assist on nursing units to dispense ice water to patient’s rooms.

Having ice water on hand is important to encourage hydration for patients, and also so they can take their medications. Not to mention, it's a great opportunity for friendly visits with patients! 

Other duties include stocking linen carts and other miscellaneous tasks on the unit.

This position is ideal for students or teens new to volunteering. It also provides great experience within the hospital environment and gives volunteers a firsthand look into day-to-day patient interaction.
