Community Beautification Group Volunteer Opportunity

Impact

Community Beautification volunteers help create safer, more welcoming neighborhoods where everyone feels seen, respected, and connected.

This work goes beyond picking up debris. It is about showing up for one another, reducing barriers to safety and dignity, and demonstrating that every person deserves to live in spaces that feel cared for and valued.

Overview

• A group volunteer opportunity for up to 10 people at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Beautification. All PPE provided.

Shifts/Time Commitment

• 1^st Tuesday of the month at 9 am – 11 am (April – September)

Location

• Meeting in reception at Bissell East 10527 96 St. and then walking around the neighborhood

Training

• Orientation on site
• A facilities coordinator will be present throughout the walk
