Position Overview

As an Entry Gate Attendant, you will be one of the first people visitors meet when they arrive at Rotary Ribfest. Your friendly smile and positive attitude help create a welcoming experience while supporting the fundraising efforts that allow Rotary to give back to our community.

Responsibilities

· Welcome guests with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.

· Collect the event admission fee using cash or tap payment.

· Process payments accurately and securely.

· Encourage guests to consider making an additional donation beyond the admission fee, thanking them for any level of support.

· Explain that the admission fee helps Rotary raise funds that are invested back into local community and international projects and charitable initiatives.

· Help keep entry lines moving efficiently while ensuring every guest has a positive experience.

What We're Looking For

· Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public.

· Confident handling cash and electronic (tap) payments.

· Comfortable asking guests if they would like to make an additional donation.

· Able to stand for the duration of the volunteer shift
