1.c - RibFest Event Opportunities - GREETER -Secondary Gate
Greeters actively welcome everyone as they enter the park at one of three gates. With a friendly manner they create an atmosphere that is comfortable and family friendly. Greeters provide information regarding the activities and location of park services and direct anyone with a large bag or knapsack to security to have its contents checked.
Key Task: Greeters also encourage everyone to donate money to our fundraiser.
We would like at least 4 volunteers at every gate, for every shift.
At least 2 of the 4 volunteers are adults, Rotarians preferred, or 1 Rotarian and a second adult. To represent our Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium and promote Rotary in general.
Good opportunity for high school volunteer hours. Will be paired with Rotarians and other adult volunteers.
