Sources Community Resources Society is an internationally-accredited, community-based non-profit organization. We have been providing help, encouragement and hope for individuals and families in White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Prince George, Parksville and beyond since 1978.
At SOURCES, we are committed to learning about, celebrating and incorporating Indigenous knowledge into our practices as we continue our work in truth, reconciliation and resurgence.
We acknowledges that our work takes place on the unceded traditional and ancestral territories of Indigenous people. Our offices are specifically located on the lands of the Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, Katzie and Tsawwassen First Nations in the Lower Mainland; the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation in the North and the Snaw-Naw-As First Nation on Vancouver Island. We are honoured to be part of these communities and many more.
We touch the lives of thousands of individuals and families across the Lower Mainland, Northern British Columbia and Vancouver Island every year. To serve them, our team of dedicated staff and devoted volunteers offer a variety of social wellness programs and services through more than 20 locations, including Community Resource Centres, that are continually expanding to meet individual and community needs.
Our Mission is to promote:

We welcome people of all genders, races, cultures, ethnicities and abilities. We strive to create more vibrant and resilient communities by offering support to children, youth, families, persons with disabilities, seniors, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, and others who are coping with isolation, addiction, mental illness, poverty, disability and conflict. We also support our communities through leadership, education and volunteerism.
We are very proud that SOURCES was the first social service agency in British Columbia and the 13th in Canada to be accredited by the internationally-recognized Council on Accreditation—a significant recognition of the high quality of our service to our clients and our community. We were re-accredited in 2020 are incredibly proud of this achievement.
