Welcome to the Habitat Hamilton Volunteer Team!

Habitat Hamilton has partnered with the City of Hamilton, and we are helping RePair and rehabilitate CityHousing units. These units are owned by CityHousing and once a unit is completed, CityHousing will provide affordable, rent-geared-to-income housing for a family in our community.

Habitat Hamilton invites volunteers over the age of 18, to join us onsite during the week to help complete the work, including flooring, wall repair, panting, trim work, etc. The location of the homes varies, please read the description for the location details. 

Volunteers must complete a volunteer application and all required training prior to signing up for their first volunteer shift.

REQUIRED TRAINING: Step 1 New Volunteer Online Orientation and Step 2 Build Site Online Safety Training Volunteers must complete this training to be able to sign up for this opportunity. Once you have completed your volunteer application, click on the Opportunity tab > Opportunity List to find these training modules.
