John Curtin Weekend - John Curtin Weekend York Wildflower Society of WA 2022

The Wildflower Society of Western Australia Inc. (WSWA) was established in 1958 to promote the value of our natural bushland.

Volunteer duties may include (please note that some duties may change as the weekend draws nearer and it becomes clearer to our community partners where volunteer support would be most valuable):

  • Weeding
  • Pruning
  • Spreading mulch


When: Saturday 17 September 2022


Transport: Transport provided by Curtin Volunteers!. Meet at Curtin University Flagpoles at 7am on Saturday 17 September

Arrive at Site: 9am on Saturday 17 September

Depart from Site to Curtin University: 4pm on Saturday 17 September

Return to Curtin University: 5.30pm on Saturday 17 September

Requirements: Lots of energy

Cost: $20 (includes transportation, meals and a CV! t-shirt)

Please note: In some instances, activities might have to be cancelled or the times changed due to unforeseen circumstances. We will try our best to avoid this happening but please be aware that the hours for these volunteering activities cannot be guaranteed until after the completion of the activity.
