Companion volunteers provide loving and compassionate support to patients and families. This support looks different for every patient and every volunteer, depending on interests and the patient's functional status.  Common activities include:  playing music, sitting bedside and holding hands, looking at photos and sharing stories, and watching videos or TV together.
