CFUV 101.9 FM is the campus/community radio station located at the University of Victoria! The station provides listeners with diverse and local-focused music, spoken word and multi-cultural programming.
Listed below are a few volunteer opportunities available to you if you're looking for more direction.
Not sure what kind of program you want to host? Take a look at some of the ones we're looking to recruit for:
1. Front2Back Producer (full album features)
SUPPORT ROLE POSITIONS:
Interested in getting involved behind the scenes? These positions support our station, but aren't on-air positions.
SPOKEN WORD POSITIONS:
Our Spoken Word department has shifted focus. We were previously working on a grant-funded project called CFUV Speaks. That project has now concluded.
For the summer of 2018, volunteers hoping to work on spoken word content (interviews, documentaries, etc.) can submit content to our station program called CFUV Presents. Content will be self-driven and completely open in topic (as long as it does not contradict what is written in our Programming Policy).
If you're interested in attending a spoken word training, let Alyssa (Operations Director) know!
