Sailability Bayside - Land Support Volunteer

Land Support Volunteer

Want to combine your love of the water and volunteering this Summer?

Sailability Bayside is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organisation. Their goal is to enrich the lives of people of all abilities and ages who may experience social and economic disadvantage by providing opportunities to go sailing and spend time on the water.

Sailability Bayside assists over 4,000 people a year in enjoying sailing on the beautiful Moreton Bay.

Can you support Sailability Bayside by volunteering? Volunteers, with or without sailing experience, can help the operation on land and/or on the water.

Roles and requirements

  • Volunteer sailors, ideally with experience. Boating licence or sailing qualifications are a bonus.
  • Land support volunteers can help volunteer in the kitchen, fitting life jackets, helping clients in and out of boats etc.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

If you are interested in sailing but don't have experience, Sailability will teach you how to sail so you can help clients sail in the Bay.

DAYS / TIME REQUIRED
