Repair Cafe Helper

The Repair Cafe is one of the liveliest things we do - one Saturday afternoon a month, people bring in broken and beloved objects and our volunteer repairers work their magic. As a Helper, you're one of the crucial people who make the whole thing flow.
It's a warm, buzzy atmosphere and a great way to be part of the Toolbox community without needing any technical or repairing skills at all.
What you'll do:
As part of a small group, help set up and pack down the space, welcome visitors, keep the queue moving fairly, and chat with people while they wait - including a quick exit survey to see how things turned out.
Time commitment:
Toolbox Repair Cafes operate just one afternoon a month - the last Saturday, 2pm - 5pm. We'd love your help at every one, but even every second month would be fantastic!
What you'll need:
A friendly attitude and a current Working With Vulnerable People Card (they're available from Access Canberra and FREE if you're a volunteer).
